Meet the Chef Behind the Taste
Born and raised in Monroe, LA, Chef Ellis specializes in Cajun Food, Soul Food, and everything in between. Chenitha has been cooking with her mom (THE Tonya Renee Williams), grandma, aunt and sisters since she was a little girl. Cooking in her family has always been a great bonding time and a passion of hers with family and friends. Creating one of a kind foods is a gift Chef Ellis has embraced as she sees this more of a relaxing and therapeutic session rather than a job or career. For the Phenomenal People featured Chef Chenitha Ellis in their 2018 April Edition highlighting the passion, drive and dedication behind her work. When Chef Ellis was asked, what piece of advice would she give to young girls who aren't confident with themselves, she responded, "You are perfect the way you are. Define YOUrself. Ride life until the wheels fall off." For the Phenomenal People, is a blog designed to highlight individuals who are making a difference for themselves and for their community through being an inspiration to others.
